Key Responsibilities :

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories, while providing tailored recommendations based on their preferences and needs.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed.
  • Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash and electronic payments with care.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance regulations to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills in the cannabis industry.

Salary

$18 - $20 USD per hour

Required Skills

  • Must be at least 21 years old to comply with legal requirements in the cannabis industry.
  • Previous experience in cannabis retail, preferably in the NJ cannabis market.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers and understand their needs.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for cannabis and a desire to educate others about its benefits and uses.

    • Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of local and state cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer needs.
  • Previous experience in sales or upselling techniques to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
