Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week 9a-9p assignment in Arizona requiring an active RN license and multiple advanced certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
  • 12-hour day shifts from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • 36 hours per week guaranteed for the duration of the 13-week contract
  • Required to take some 24-hour on-call shifts during the assignment
  • Uses Meditech 6.0 EMR; experience preferred
  • Strict 100-mile radius rule applies for traveler eligibility
  • No more than 3 days off may be requested for the entire 13-week contract
  • The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
  • First time travelers may not be considered due to preference for prior travel experience

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active AZ or Compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Room RN experience
  • Certifications required : ACLS, BLS / BCLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
  • Flu vaccination required with no exceptions
  • Meditech 6.0 EMR experience preferred
  • Prior travel RN experience strongly preferred
