National Account Manager - Radiology

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role, National Account Manager - Radiology, are to :
- Drive downstream execution, adoption, and pull-through across sub-Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), national health systems, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs) under major GPO umbrellas.
- Act as an orchestrator between Product & Pipeline (P&P) and system-level accounts, ensuring effective execution of strategies, contracts, and programs to deliver measurable business results.
- Focus on measurable outcomes and commercial performance, ensuring execution, adoption, compliance, and portfolio growth across the Bayer Radiology business.
- Optimize utilization of national agreements and drive adherence to strategic initiatives, delivering tangible business results, strengthening customer value, and ensuring seamless pull-through of enterprise strategies at the system and account level.
Additional responsibilities include :
Develop and lead strategy development, execution, compliance, and commercial pull-through of national agreements within sub-GPOs, national health systems, and large integrated delivery networks (IDNs) to ensure measurable business impact and growth.Translate national GPO and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) strategies into actionable account activation plans while co-creating strategic account plans and value roadmaps with system executives to drive alignment, system engagement, and maximize contract performance in support of Bayer's Radiology business and long-term growth.Execute downstream, customer-facing strategies that strengthen relationships, improve network integration, and expand portfolio utilization across parent- / systemlevel.Leverage existing data tools to set account-level KPIs and measure outcomes; proficiently use analytics tools to track performance, forecast revenue, and monitor adoption trends.Conduct system-level business reviews with health-system and regional stakeholders to assess utilization, compliance, and return on investment, and using these insights to refine account strategies and strengthen partnership plans.Segment accounts by value and influence, directing time and resources toward high-impact, growth-driving relationships.Proactively initiate, cultivate, and expand executive and committee-level relationships to shape strategic outcomes and drive alignment.Partner with corporate and site-level leaders to drive contract compliance, optimize utilization, and increase portfolio adoption; identify root causes of non-compliance and implement remediation plans with field teams.Quantify and communicate the financial impact of compliance and performance improvement, adoption growth, and contract performance and optimization.Coordinate Strategic Account Managers (SAMs), Account Managers (AMs), Product & Pipeline (P&P), Product Specialists (PSRs), and field resources through the customer engagement process to execute national account plans consistently at the local and regional level.Facilitate account summits, presenting data-driven insights, portfolio growth results, and innovation opportunities that reinforce strategic partnership value.Capture and disseminate customer insights, competitive intelligence, and success stories across account team members and upward to GPO leadership to inform renewals, pipeline planning, and portfolio optimization.Maintain joint accountability for revenue and growth performance while upholding Bayer's compliance, regulatory, and ethical standards, building strong trust and relationships across health-system executives and field teams.Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to health-system partners and internal teams, sharing best practices in pull-through excellence, access optimization, and account performance improvement.Who You Are
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following :
Expertise in health-system purchasing networks, GPO and sub-GPO structures, and radiology operations.Proven ability to convert strategy into actionable commercial execution with measurable results.Demonstrated success driving system-level growth and performance improvement.Strong execution orientation; operational driver and execution leader.Deep relationship management across executive and operational levels within health systems and sub-GPO networks.Skilled in orchestrating cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, market access, and clinical teams.Proficiency in CRM platforms, analytics tools, and performance dashboard interpretation.Strong analytical skills; using data insights to measure adoption, performance, and growth.Highly proficient financial acumen; forecasting, performance tracking, and business planning experience.Strong experience in contract lifecycle managementspanning strategy development, negotiation, compliance, and measurement in partnership with Legal and Finance.Results-driven, action-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates ownership for outcomes and accountability for system-level results.Excellent executive communication, influencing, and presentation skills.Working knowledge of compliance and ethical promotion standards.Continuous improvement mindset; drives system alignment, innovation, and field accountability.Indicators of success include revenue growth, contract performance, portfolio penetration, and strong health-system engagement scores.Preferred Qualifications :
MBA or advanced degree.Experience in strategic account management or health-system commercial leadership (preferred 7 to 10 years).Ability to use company generated AI tools.There will be two open National Account Manager positions available. Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $165,073 to $247,609. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data / ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
