Litigation Paralegal (Nursing Home Abuse & Personal Injury)
Location : Evanston, Illinois 60201
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m.
Compensation : Starting at $90,000 (could be higher depending on experience)
Work Arrangement : In-office to start; hybrid (1–2 remote days / week) available after building a strong, trusting work relationship

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team and play a vital role in pushing cases forward while maintaining the highest standards of client service and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Propound and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
- Assist with deposition preparation, witness coordination, and trial exhibits.
- Organize case files and maintain deadlines to ensure proactive case management.
- Conduct factual research and gather medical records, expert reports, and other evidence.
- Prepare trial binders and support attorneys throughout trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
- Communicate compassionately and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience , including at least 3 years on the plaintiff side in personal injury or nursing home abuse cases.Strong drafting skills — able to prepare motions, discovery, and correspondence with minimal supervision.Proven experience with trial preparation and supporting counsel in trial.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail and strong organizational ability.Ability to manage multiple deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with legal software and case management systems.Compensation & Benefits
