Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Director of Nursing :
- Help train, teach, and monitor nurses.
- Manage clinical operations and develop care plans.
- Ensure nursing staff follows departmental procedures and policies.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
- Conduct patient rounds and address complaints.
- Evaluate the performance of the department and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local standards.
- Keep patient and employee records updated and accurate.
- Report directly to the Director of Nursing.
