Unit : Labor & Delivery, Women's Pavilion

Contract Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Positions Available : 2

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1610 - $1730

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Texas RN License (no temporary licenses)

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred

Ability to float to other hospital units as needed

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to laboring mothers and newborns

Monitor fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques

Assist with vaginal deliveries and Caesarean sections

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including unit clerks and OR techs available 24 / 7

Document patient care using Meditech / CPN systems

Follow hospital policies, including floating guidelines and dress code (navy scrubs, professional appearance)

Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and families
