Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding as needed to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location, including building interiors, exteriors, and perimeters. Observe for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location, helping to deter unwanted behavior. Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or local authorities as appropriate regarding incidents or emergencies. Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal requirements. Support site access control measures, verifying identification and / or credentials as required by site policy. Assist visitors, staff, and students with general inquiries while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to ride a bike. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Unarmed Security Officer - Government Site
As a Unarmed Security Officer in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more.

Pay Rate : $17.6 / Hour
Job Schedule :
DayTimeMon07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PMSun06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
