Job Description

Gift Operations Assistant

The Gift Operations Assistant plays a key role in keeping the gift processing team running smoothly and efficiently. This is a hybrid contract position, allowing you to split your time between remote work and one on-site day each week.

Compensation : $24.00-32.00 / hr

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be the backbone of the gift operations process—helping ensure that every donation is processed accurately, every record is up to date, and every detail is handled with care. You’ll process gifts and pledges, track data, update donor information, and support the team with weekly remote deposits and special projects. It’s a great opportunity to build on your previous administrative skills while learning about the inner workings of fundraising and financial operations.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with at least three years of administrative experience who’s organized, detail-oriented, and ready to jump into a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You should be comfortable juggling multiple tasks, confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases, and known for your reliability and discretion. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in supporting meaningful work will make you a great fit. A bachelor’s degree and experience with fundraising or financial systems are a plus, but enthusiasm and precision matter most.

Our Commitment to Inclusion & Belonging

The Hollister Group is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome and encourage applications from people who are under-represented in their respective occupation or position.
