ER RN Job Details – Lansing, MI Location : Lansing, Michigan 48912 Healthcare Setting : Emergency Room (Level I Trauma Center) Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 11 / 2025 – End : 2 / 10 / 2026) Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract Weekend Coverage : 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4-week schedule Floating : May float to Pediatric Emergency Department Estimated Weekly Pay : $1890 - $1940 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan (compact licenses not accepted) Minimum 1 year of recent Level I trauma ER experience required (2 years preferred) Current certifications required : ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) by AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Experience with EPIC charting system required Prior travel nursing experience required Proof of high school education required ER RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases Administer blood products, IV vasopressors, and IV sedation (continuous / procedural) Perform triage and manage patients of all ages : infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Care for trauma, neuro-trauma, ortho trauma, stroke, STEMI, and other emergency cases Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory, radiology, social services, rapid response) Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR Complete required educational modules prior to floor assignment Ready to take the next step in your ER nursing career?
