The successful applicant would : Play a leading role in the growth of a thriving general cardiology practice and interventional service in a region with expanding demand and rapid population growth. Provide independent STEMI call coverage at a full-service community hospital, supported by a dedicated cath lab team. Enjoy a balance of outpatient and inpatient cardiology clinical care responsibilities with opportunities to interpret echocardiograms, perform TEEs, and read cardiac imaging. Candidates should : Be board-certified / eligible in cardiovascular disease and Interventional Cardiology. Have at least 1-2 years of post-fellowship experience in independent PCI / STEMI call coverage. Be comfortable managing a high-volume general cardiology practice, including outpatient visits and noninvasive diagnostics. Collaborate within a highly collegial, team-based environment where communication and shared decision-making are valued. Desire to live on or near the South Fork or North Fork of Long Island to ensure close proximity (~20-30 minutes) to support timely STEMI call coverage. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : MD, DO or MD / PhD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board certified / eligible in both Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Excellence in clinical care and teaching in cardiology (inpatient and outpatient). U.S. work authorization.
