Overview

Zurich North America invites applications for the Risk Engineering Training Program - GA or TX (Summer 2026) . This program blends classroom instruction with structured, on-the-job training at locations across the U.S. Risk Engineers travel to customer locations to perform risk assessments and advise customers in industries including construction, healthcare, and manufacturing. The program emphasizes consulting and loss prevention using engineering expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations to perform risk assessments and advise on risk management.
  • Collaborate with a global network of risk engineering specialists and work with underwriting teams.
  • Participate in a fully remote program with 25-50% travel; potential company car after program depending on territory.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or in pursuit with expected graduation by June 2026
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Fire Protection, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Corporate internship or work experience
  • Leadership and involvement in activities on campus or community
  • Location and Travel

    Remote role within assigned territory; markets : Georgia or Dallas, TX. 25-50% travel. If territory covers ~12k miles annually, mileage reimbursement; driving record will be examined.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Compensation range : $85,500-$94,500 with 10% short-term incentive bonus. Zurich complies with local laws and provides a comprehensive benefits package.
