Senior Data Scientist

Overview

Senior Data Scientist will support the cutting-edge Data Science and Machine Learning Capability Center, part of the broader Information, Data, and Analytics (IDA) team. The role is central to a high-impact innovation initiative in partnership with NVIDIA, focused on scalable high-performance computing (HPC) and AI applications that directly support business-critical scientific computing tasks like seismic imaging. The position emphasizes end-to-end AI / ML solution developmentfrom research prototypes to production-grade, full-stack deployments, leveraging deep learning, reinforcement learning, and multimodal large language models (LLMs). It involves scaling these solutions across Shells digital platforms using both on-premises HPC infrastructure and cloud capacity.

Base pay range

$60.00 / hr - $68.00 / hr

This role contributes to the GenAI and HPC Program, a multi-year, strategic investment designed to advance AI-driven scientific computing. The initiative emphasizes :

• On-premises and cloud-based HPC infrastructure.
• High-performance storage and specialized AI / ML toolsets.
