Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse (SDHRN) plays a pivotal role as a primary healthcare provider responsible for coordinating and delivering patient-centered care. As an integral member of the healthcare team, the SDHRN collaborates with various disciplines to successfully implement each patient's care plan. Utilizing comprehensive assessment skills and advanced diagnostic technology, the SDHRN effectively assesses the nursing care needs of patients. Collected data is systematically analyzed and communicated to fellow healthcare providers. Continuously monitoring and evaluating patient conditions and needs, the SDHRN refines care plans to achieve optimal outcomes for the patients and the facility.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Required : Graduate from an accredited nursing program or current enrollment in an Alternative Entry MSN program.
Preferred : Bachelor's Degree; at least one year of experience in a Staff RN or charge role.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES :
Required : Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice or holds an active compact license in compliance with laws and regulations. Colleagues with a compact license from states other than Texas must :
apply for a Texas RN license within 60 days from hire.
obtain a current TX RN license within 6 months of application.
BCLS certification as per hospital policy.
Preferred : ACLS certification as per hospital policy.
St. David's Surgical Hospital is a specialty hospital focused on surgical care. We provide advanced treatment in orthopedic, gynecological, urological, breast, and reconstructive surgery, among others.
