Content Strategist at Russell Tobin & Associates to work with one of our large social news / community-based technology companies. This role is fully remote.

Pay : $29 - $31 per hour on W2

Duration : 6 months

Location : Remote. You must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays and three other days during the week, though there may be more flexibility later.

Job Description

You will map Client’s by contextualizing and identifying relationships between subclients and posts based on culture, trends, audience, genre and / or theme. You will create categories and label subclients and posts to improve client’s content understanding, resulting in better ML recommendations. You will find what\'s trending on client and surface this content, track key global moments, and ensure coverage remains timely and relevant.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and surface trending stories, formats, and conversations, and stay on top of relevant global moments during both weekday and weekend shifts.
• Draw trend-based insights and translate them into actionable recommendations for content planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and execution.
• Ensure all trend-driven content aligns with brand voice, editorial standards, and content policy guidelines.
• Support Client\'s understanding of evolving communities, content themes, and audience interests—particularly within the U.S. market.
• Understand policy and labeling guidelines and execute accurate labels based on those guidelines.
• Content labeling (maintaining the accuracy and coverage of our community topics and ratings).
• QA of Machine Learning results and creation of data-sets for Machine Learning training.
• Identifying common patterns in datasets and document insights based on labeling observations.
