Role Overview :
Client is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support a leading Oil and Gas client in Belle Chasse, LA. This role is responsible for managing a wide range of industrial construction projects from RFP through closeout, ensuring all phases are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations. With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and upfront planning, you'll define project scope, select qualified contractors, build detailed schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You'll monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive efficiency across all phases. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, clear communication, and the ability to navigate complex challenges with professionalism. You'll support cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, safe, and sustainable project outcomes.
- This is a primarily Monday through Friday role, but there should be an expectation to work weekends as needed.
What You'll Do :
Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring all construction phases, budgets, safety, and risk mitigation are effectively managed.Establish a structured communication plan with clients and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution and collaboration.Manage all project phases, keeping them on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with quality and safety regulations. Regularly monitor facility projects against budget and alert the team to any deviations in project scope, timeline, or costs.Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality work while conducting regular site visits to review progress and adherence to scope. Ensure that any changes in scope result in revised documents and updated client approvals as needed.Proactively identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and uphold strict safety standards to ensure a zero-harm work environment.Maintain project documentation, schedule meetings, prepare reports, and serve as the key liaison between the project team and the client.What You Bring :
Bachelor's degree in business, architecture, engineering, or construction management preferred.5 to 7 years of project management experience with a track record of delivering successful projects.Strong ability to manage client expectations and ensure project requirements are met.Proficient in financial reporting and budget monitoring to keep costs within scope.Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills with a professional demeanor.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.Position Summary :
Plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated capital projects. Reviews project proposal, establishes work plan and manages contractors to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.Key Duties :
