Residential House Manager

We are seeking a Residential House Manager to oversee the operation of two residential locations in Windsor Mill and Towson, MD. This role combines leadership, direct care, and administrative oversight to ensure quality services and compliance with Maryland DDA / COMAR regulations. The House Manager plays a key role in supporting individuals, supervising staff, managing budgets, and maintaining safe, welcoming homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision, guidance, and training to individuals to promote independence, safety, and community integration
  • Implement and monitor Person-Centered Plans (PCPs), Behavior Support Plans, and Nursing Care Plans
  • Coordinate and document medical and therapy appointments; ensure all documentation is entered in Icare Manager Tracking software (ICM)
  • Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring professionalism, accountability, and timely completion of required documentation in ICM
  • Oversee scheduling, attendance, payroll approvals, and coverage to maintain staffing ratios while managing overtime
  • Manage household budgets, grocery orders, receipts, and individual funds; maintain accountability practices using Pex Accounts
  • Conduct safety drills, vehicle checks, and compliance logs; ensure homes remain clean, organized, and safe
  • Collaborate with nurses, families, and community partners to support individual needs
  • Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, completing reports in ICM within required timelines
  • Ensure all program binders, postings, and compliance documentation are up to date

  • Position Type : Full-Time
  • Compensation : $55,000 annually
  • Work Location : Coverage for 2 residential locations (Windsor Mill and Towson, MD)
  • Administrative Office : Windsor Mill, MD

  • We are looking for candidates who

  • Are at least 21 years of age
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in human services, including 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Possess knowledge of Maryland DDA / COMAR regulations (preferred)
  • Have experience with Icare Manager Tracking software (ICM)
  • Have experience with Pex Accounts for financial management
  • Bring strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Have experience in budgeting, payroll, and fiscal accountability
  • Hold a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of safe driving history
  • Can successfully complete all required background checks and trainings
