Billing Specialist job in San Diego, CA LHH is partnering with a growing professional services company located in Poway to hire a Billing Specialist! This is a contract role for 2+ months, with the potential to extend based on business needs and performance. This position plays a key role in supporting the billing and customer service functions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable handling customer inquiries, and experienced in processing payments and invoices. • Answer incoming customer calls regarding invoices, billing questions, and payment status
• Process online payments and assist customers with payment portals
• Review and verify billing data for accuracy
• Resolve billing discrepancies and escalate issues when needed
• Maintain organized records of transactions and customer interactions
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing
• Provide general administrative support to the billing department
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned
