American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist with at least one year of cardiac cath and interventional radiology experience for a 20-week contract.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in the Cardiac Catheterization and Special Procedures LabPatient population includes adults requiring cardiac and interventional radiology proceduresDuties include operating imaging and physiological monitoring equipment, assisting physicians with interventional procedures, and functioning as a scrub and monitor techWork schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (7 : 30AM–6 : 00PM), with on-call every third weekend and two weekdays per weekFloat required to all procedural areas as neededEpic EMR experience requiredLevel 1 Trauma experience requiredResponsibilities include administering contrast materials, medication administration within scope, patient assessment for allergies, maintaining sterile field, and basic equipment troubleshootingMust maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with inventory and suppliesExpectation to explain procedures and provide patient care, ensuring comfort, support, and confidentialityMust be able to take call after six months of orientationNo local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facilityReturned travelers may not continuously work more than one year and must take a six-month break before returningMaximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contractCompliance documents must be completed prior to start; allow at least two weeks for background checks and drug screenNo travel partner arrangements accepted\n \n Requirements\n
Associate's degree in a related field or certificate in radiologic technology requiredMust hold active BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)IEMA Radiography License (Illinois) and ARRT (R) certification requiredCardiac cath lab and interventional radiology experience requiredMinimum of one year of relevant experienceEpic EMR and Level 1 Trauma experience requiredNeuro interventional and EP experience preferredLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
