A company is looking for an Onboarding Specialist to facilitate member transitions to a health plan.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary contact for new members, addressing their needs and concerns
Educate members on health plan offerings and ensure continuity of care during the transition
Document member healthcare services and schedule initial nurse intake visits
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in call center and / or Medicare / Medicaid plan
Five years of relevant experience required
One year of outreach experience with individuals facing behavioral, medical, or social complexities
Experience in a multi-cultural setting and using motivational interviewing techniques
Preferred experience with electronic medical records and care management systems
