Overview
Sales Account Consultant (Base Salary + Commission) at Mountain Manufacturing, A PFG Company. This role offers a competitive base salary with uncapped commissions, with travel required across the region to build relationships and grow brand presence.
Responsibilities
- Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with licensees / franchisees and store personnel to understand needs and maximize food product sales.
- Conduct sales presentations or demonstrations to showcase food products and related solutions, persuading prospects or current customers to purchase.
- Drive profitability by increasing same-store food sales and canvass for new customers to expand the territory.
- Provide ongoing guidance, training, and support to licensees / franchisees to maximize sales and customer success.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and implement sales strategies to meet targets.
- Inform and guide program implementations, new product introductions, and promotions.
- Maintain knowledge of contracts and ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
- Maintain timely and accurate sales performance reports for leadership.
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Attend meetings and trainings as required and adhere to all company policies and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or related experience / training; equivalent combination of education and experience. Three–five years of field-related operations experience in the food industry preferred. Valid driver's license required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to read and understand documents and product labels.Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret data and perform basic calculations.Ability to interpret technical instructions and translate them into actionable sales opportunities; strong reasoning abilities and problem-solving skills.Accountability, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Energetic, customer-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team; willingness to work flexible hours as needed.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks related to field sales activities.Compensation
