Offices : San Francisco Bay Area, CA and Seattle, WA. This is a hybrid role. Primarily remote work with at least one to two in‑office days a month. We are seeking a candidate in either metro area.

Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Advanced Staff Accountant to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, ready to dive into day‑to‑day accounting and take ownership while growing into higher‑level client services. This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is adaptable to the unique needs of multiple clients across diverse industries, and is committed to both individual excellence and team collaboration.

This role is the wizard of the books, managing all facets of bookkeeping and record‑keeping, developing reports, identifying patterns, problems, and inaccuracies in accounting systems and financial statements, and building better systems for our clients. You will navigate multiple industry‑specific accounting requirements with professionalism and skill, and be client‑facing with the rest of the accounting team. You must be willing and able to step in and up during times of transition, high volume, or staffing gaps.

Qualifications :

• 2–5 years of work experience in full‑cycle accounting (GL, AP / AR, reconciliations, close) including process‑improvement experience.
• Excellent skills in Excel and major accounting platforms including QuickBooks and Bill.com.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects across various clients and industries.
• Strong project‑management and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client‑facing engagement.
• Willingness to engage in both strategic and tactical accounting work as needed.
• Strong aptitude for learning and improving other technology platforms.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a flexible, problem‑solving approach.
