Position Overview :

The Quality Control Assistant Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of the Quality Control (QC) division. This position serves as a key liaison between QC specialists, subject matter experts (SMEs), and supervisors, ensuring that all QC outputs meet the highest standards and that continuous improvement initiatives are successfully implemented.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Quality Monitoring & Evaluation :

Monitor and assess the quality of work performed by QC specialists to ensure compliance with established standards, procedures, and legal requirements.

  • Conduct monthly second-level reviews on selected QC outputs to verify the integrity, accuracy, and thoroughness of existing processes and evaluations.
  • Team Development & Feedback :
  • Conduct monthly performance evaluations and feedback sessions with team members to track KPIs, clarify expectations, and outline corrective actions.

  • Participate in rotation-based feedback sessions with QC specialists to support their development and address performance gaps.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting :
  • Consistently monitor the scorecard system to identify trends, recurring errors, and root causes of quality issues.

  • Generate regular reports on the quality of processed cases, highlighting key findings, areas of concern, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Escalate significant issues and performance concerns to the QC Supervisor and Manager promptly.
  • Collaboration & Communication :
  • Communicate effectively with assistant supervisors, SMEs, and supervisors to support process improvement initiatives.

  • Attend scheduled meetings with the QC Supervisor and Manager to structure, prioritize, and track progress on QC improvement projects.
  • Support and contribute to special projects designed to enhance quality control standards and operations.
  • Training & Continuous Improvement :
  • Attend and participate in legal training sessions to stay current on processes, legal standards, and emerging challenges.

  • Proactively apply new knowledge to improve QC operations and guide team members.
  • Ensure QC workflows and procedures for the assigned team remain up-to-date and aligned with best practices.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned to support operational requirements.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

  • 1+ year experience in legal quality control or similar functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Law, Legal Studies, Quality Assurance) preferred.
  • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong understanding of legal operations and case standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.).
