Water / Wastewater Hydraulic Modeling Engineer

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Modeler to join our growing Water / Wastewater engineering practice. This role focuses on hydraulic modeling of sanitary sewer collection systems and potable water distribution systems for municipal utilities. You will lead modeling projects, mentor junior engineers, and deliver high-quality solutions for planning, rehabilitation, and capital improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, calibrate, and analyze hydraulic models using InfoWorks, WaterGEMS, XPSWMM, PCSWMM, KY Pipe, EPA-SWMM , or similar software.
• Perform capacity assessments, rehabilitation planning, and system performance evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and project deliverables.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control.
• Mentor and guide engineering staff; provide client support and consultation.

Requirements :

Preferred : PE license, Mid-Atlantic client experience, team leadership
