Job Summary / Description :

WBTV is searching for a weekend reporter who embodies passion, drive, and a commitment to excellence at the premier legacy station in the Carolinas. Additionally, this person will understand accountability storytelling, breaking news, and have a drive to succeed across all platforms.

The successful candidate will work three weeknights, as well as the Saturday / Sunday shifts, as a General Assignment reporter. This person will also be responsible for covering breaking news and pitching branded stories that fit under the "On Your Side" brand. Additionally, the candidate will be a team player who knows how to collaborate across a multi-platform approach to storytelling.

Please note - primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the information listed above.

Qualifications / Requirements :

• Three or more years of minimum experience in a broadcast newsroom or digital newsgathering environment.
• WBTV is searching for a weekend reporter who is able to work in a fast-paced news gathering environment.
