PRN Registered Nurse - Behavioral Medicine

Summary :

As a qualified and skilled Registered Nurse, you will work independently to provide competent care in a dynamic behavioral medicine setting. Your role encompasses both routine and intricate patient care, with a focus on achieving long-term health goals while effectively managing various clinical situations.

Responsibilities :

• Embrace the OneCHRISTUS Competencies, showcasing leadership qualities in personal practice and in guiding others.
• Deliver nursing care rooted in the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, employing the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your assigned patients.
• Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment efficacy.
• Accurately document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and deliver educational resources to patients, families, and caregivers while addressing potential issues and utilizing available resources.

Job Requirements : Education / Skills :

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience :

One year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications :

BLS certification required.

Active RN License in the state of employment or compact is required.

Work Schedule : 7PM - 7AM

Work Type : Per Diem As Needed
