Travel Surgical Technologist - $1,800 per week

• Required Education : Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
• Required Certification : CST (certification requirement directed by local facility).
• A minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST and / or Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
• If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed, due to training on the job or trained in the military – Five (5) years’ work experience is required.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, surgeons and other patient care personnel, often during emergency or stressful situations.
• Analytical skills necessary in order to organize and prepare operating room according to best practice methods and procedures.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods (greater than eighty percent of work time) and to occasionally lift and position patients when preparing patients for operative procedures.
• Manual dexterity necessary to grasp and hold firmly retractors and delicate surgical instruments. Mechanical aptitude to operate a large variety highly technical medical equipment.
