Senior Trial Attorney – Complex Litigation (Insurance Defense)

Location : Long Beach, California

Who You Are

You are a seasoned trial attorney with a proven track record of successfully trying complex civil cases in the insurance defense arena. You bring a commanding courtroom presence, deep litigation experience, and a strategic mindset. You can connect with juries, distill complexity into clarity, and lead litigation teams with confidence under pressure.

What You Will Do

  • Take cases from inception through verdict, including leading all phases of trial
  • Develop and execute trial strategy in high-exposure, complex civil litigation matters
  • Conduct voir dire, direct and cross examinations, expert depositions, and closing arguments
  • Collaborate with legal teams on case development, discovery, and pre-trial preparation
  • Serve as a mentor and resource to junior attorneys and litigation staff
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth, culture, and reputation for trial excellence

    • What We’re Looking For

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active California bar membership
  • 10+ years of litigation experience with strong emphasis on jury trials and courtroom advocacy
  • Deep knowledge of insurance defense and complex civil litigation
  • Outstanding trial skills, including jury selection, evidentiary argument, and witness examination
  • Strategic thinker and persuasive communicator who leads with integrity
  • Passion for litigation and a desire to be part of a firm reshaping the trial landscape
