Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In a dynamic educational environment, a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide vital support to students across multiple grade levels. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language services to enhance student communication skills effectively.

Qualifications :

  • Valid Connecticut State Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
  • Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively as an itinerant SLP across different schools
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus

Location : Bridgeport, CT

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans for a diverse caseload, ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy as needed
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy both onsite and via teletherapy
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
