About your role : As a Senior Cognos Engineer you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our data warehouse infrastructure. You will work closely with our Data Warehouse Application Development, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure the seamless integration of software releases into production environments. You will focus on automating and streamlining workflows, ensuring system reliability, and driving efficiency throughout the software development lifecycle. What you'll do :

• Design and manage data warehouse, data modeling, and infrastructure tuning.
• Partner with development and IT operations for smooth software releases integration.
• Implement automation and integration processes including code deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Ensure system reliability and efficiency by implementing monitoring systems and optimizing performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability and resolving complex issues.
• Promote secure DevOps and partner with cybersecurity on scanning using tools like Fortify, SonaType, WebInspect, and liaising with penetration testing teams.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
