San Gabriel Mission High School (SGMHS) is a college-preparatory Catholic high school located on the historic grounds of the San Gabriel Mission. In the Dominican and Claretian traditions, our faith-driven community provides a safe environment for young women to grow as spiritual, intellectual, creative, and athletic leaders. Our financially accessible opportunities serve a diverse and inclusive student body of local, commuter, and international students in the Greater Los Angeles area.

SGMHS is accepting applications for instructors to teach in multiple departments. Part time or full time positions available.

Requirements

• Commitment to an Archdiocesan / Parish Catholic Education in a single-sex context.
• Ability to work well and collaborate with faculty / staff, students, families, and other stakeholders.
• Interested candidates must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and a minimum of 2 years teaching experience or related experience with the intent of acquiring their teaching credential and / or masters.
• Proficiency in a variety of teaching methods and technology use in the classroom. Google Suite.
• Teaching credential and / or masters preferred
• Once hired, individuals should possess Virtus, First / Aid CPR certification, and fingerprinting with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Wage Range

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
