Job Title : Clinic Nurse - Otology Specialty
Job Description
Ensure a positive and quality patient clinical experience in accordance with established standards, policies, and nursing scope of practice. Act as a liaison between the physician and the patient, ensuring that both parties' needs are recognized and resolved. Provide nursing care for patients in the clinic, assist with exams, and ensure detailed documentation and recording in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Work Environment
The role is based in a clinic specializing in otology, with locations in Broadway, Merriam, and Lakewood (Lee Summit). Starting June 1st, it will be based in the Roe Office and Lakewood (Lee Summit). The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 / 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 / 5 PM, with flexibility for 4-9 hour days and a half-day if needed, and no weekends. The pace is fast, depending on the number of surgeries. This position covers maternity leave initially and may transition to a different department if offered a permanent position. Physical demands include the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and vision and hearing must be corrected to near normal range. The work environment includes moderate noise levels, occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, and minimal exposure to hazardous materials. No special uniform or protective equipment is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leawood, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $37.00 / hr.
