Phlebotomist / Processor

Located at Miami Valley Hospital South (Centerville, OH)

Part-Time Day Shift (5 : 30 AM - 2 : 00 PM)

Position Summary :

The Phlebotomists / Processor collects, transports, and processes laboratory specimens.

Responsibilities :

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures according to departmental procedures.
• Accurately label and prepare specimens for testing or transport.
• Complete requisitions and manage specimen receipt using computer systems.
• Deliver specimens to testing areas.
• Maintain equipment and assist with problem-solving related to patient draws and orders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and departmental policies.
• Conduct inventory checks, train new employees, and maintain a safe work environment.
