Overview

United Way Miami is hiring for a Co-Teacher (10 Months) to join our team. As a Co-Teacher (10 Months) under the guidance of the Mentor teacher and Teacher, provide a safe and nurturing environment for children that encourages their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.

Position details

Salary Range : $19.66 p / hr

Work address : Center for Excellence in Early Education - 3250 SW 3 Ave. Miami, FL 33129

Working Schedule : This is a 10-month position (August–May) aligned with the academic year, with the option to work during the summer camp program based on availability and interest.

Requirements

Education Requirements

A minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development. Bilingual preferred.

Technology Requirements

Knowledge of modern web browsers, Intermediate Word, Beginning Excel, and Beginning Outlook.

Other Essential Knowledge / Skills

Flexibility, understanding concepts around Visible Thinking, Multiple Intelligence, Dual Language, Inclusion, and Early Literacy strategies.
