Job Title : Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Location : Near Canal Fulton, OH

Position Overview :

We are seeking caring and dependable Direct Support Professionals to join a mission-driven team supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) setting. This role focuses on person-centered care, daily living assistance, and creating meaningful experiences for residents. Ideal for those passionate about making a difference, including STNAs and caregivers seeking long-term, fulfilling careers.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, dressing, cooking, cleaning, and meal assistance

Support residents in pursuing personal goals, interests, and community involvement

Administer medications and provide basic medical support under delegation (training provided)

Document care provided, individual progress, and activities accurately and timely

Engage individuals in faith-based activities such as devotions, bible study, or church attendance if desired

Transport residents to appointments, outings, and community activities as needed

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment following health and safety protocols

Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure high-quality care and compliance with regulations

Participate in training, special projects, and additional duties to support operational and resident needs

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required

Previous experience in developmental disabilities care, elderly care, or a related field preferred but not required (full training provided)

CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required within 60 days of hire

Valid driver’s license with insurable record and reliable transportation

Ability to remain calm under pressure and support residents with kindness and patience

Pay & Incentives :

Base Pay : $17.00 / hour

Incentives : +$0.50 / hour Medication Delegation, +$0.50 / hour Driver Certification

Total Potential Pay : $18.00 / hour

Shifts Available : 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Rotating weekends and holidays required
