Phlebotomist - Full-Time (On-Site in Greenwood, IN)

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM (1-hour lunch, 12-1 PM)

Pay Rate : $16.00-$21.00 per hour (based on experience)

A leading clinical laboratory organization is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to support one of its partnered healthcare clinics in Greenwood, IN. This company provides a broad spectrum of clinical laboratory testing designed to deliver accurate and diagnostically meaningful results for physicians and their patients.

This position is fully on-site at a multi-provider family and internal medicine clinic and requires someone confident working independently and interacting directly with patients of all ages.

Position Overview

The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing blood draws throughout the day, ensuring proper specimen handling, and preparing samples for courier pick-up. This is a high-volume, fast-moving clinic-ideal for someone who is self-sufficient and enjoys staying busy.

Key Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and collect specimens using proper safety and handling protocols

Confirm patient identity and ensure accurate labeling of all tubes and documentation

Enter specimen and patient data into the computer system

Prepare collected specimens for transportation and courier pickup

Maintain clean work areas and adequate supplies

Follow all departmental procedures and laboratory safety practices

Deliver professional, courteous service to patients, clinic staff, and colleagues

Perform additional administrative or clinical tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

Comfortable and confident working independently as the sole phlebotomist on site

Previous, high-volume blood draw experience (Phlebotomy certification not required )

Medical Assistants with strong phlebotomy backgrounds are welcome to apply

Basic computer and data entry skills

High school diploma or equivalent (photo of diploma acceptable)

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

Strong communication and customer-service abilities

Professional, friendly demeanor with patients of all ages

Work Environment

Busy clinical setting with five providers

Solid-color scrubs required (no prints or patterns)

Pay Scale

$16 - 21 / hour
