Vale Group has partnered with a national firm based in Tampa, FL, currently seeking for a skilled Audit Senior to join their team on a hybrid basis . This opportunity offers a competitive salary of $85,000 to $105,000 depending on experience. Candidates at the upper end of this range must hold an active CPA license . While the company is open to highly qualified individuals beyond the Senior level, their priority is to identify a strong Senior-level professional.

Ideal candidates should bring experience from either national or large regional public accounting firms. Individuals with private-sector backgrounds may also be considered, provided their experience is not limited to government or non-profit sectors.

Requirements of the Audit Senior :

3+ years of experience in public accounting (national or large regional public accounting firm preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred)
CPA license required for consideration at the top end of the compensation range
Experience in audit methodology and financial statement preparation
Strong project coordination and client communication abilities
Must have worked with clients across diverse industries-exclusive government or non-profit experience will not be accepted
Familiarity with audit tools (Engagement software experience is a plus)
Additional exposure to acquisition accounting is a plus

Responsibilities of the Audit Senior :

Lead and manage audit engagements, including developing audit strategies and ensuring timely execution

Oversee staff and delegate responsibilities across the engagement lifecycle

Prepare and review financial statements and related disclosures

Address complex client-specific risks and ensure proper documentation

Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations and provide timely updates

Research and resolve technical accounting questions and issues

Support ad hoc duties as needed across engagements
