Job SummaryNiBBuS CombiNed Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills, demonstrate cultural humility, and be committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care. As a QMHP, you will play a vital role in delivering mental health services, supporting clients through treatment and recovery, and collaborating with community resources to ensure excellent care.
- Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and client goals.
- Utilize evidence-based assessment tools and therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, etc.).
- Provide individual and group therapy.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to treat mental health disorders and promote recovery.
- Coordinate care with healthcare providers, social services, and community resources.
- Assist clients in accessing supportive services to meet their needs.
- Maintain strong partnerships with community agencies and referral sources.
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services.
- Develop and implement safety plans for clients at risk of harm to self or others.
- Coordinate emergency services and appropriate follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries).
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as NCC policies.
- Participate in required training, supervision, and professional development.
- Advocate for client rights and needs within the healthcare system and community.
- Provide mental health education and support to clients and their families.
- Participate in outreach events, meetings, and community forums.
- Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Clinical licensure required : LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent.
- 12 years of relevant experience (internships and practicum work accepted).
- Current and unrestricted Oregon license.
- DEA registration and NPI number.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Proficiency in providing individual, group, and family therapy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain strong therapeutic relationships.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize, and stay organized.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare compliance, and medical terminology.
