Description : JOB OVERVIEW :

The DME Coordinator role is responsible for coordinating durable medical equipment ordering, procurement / delivery, training new employees on DME products and posting charges at The Orthopaedic Institute.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

• Maintain inventory of all DME products
• DME Application
• Posts DME charges
• Ordering and receiving order in Inventory Management software
• Train employees on DME process and procedures
• Cleaning / stocking
• Ensure blood borne pathogen, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and other governmental regulations are adhered to.
• Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

QUALIFICATIONS / LICENSE :

DME experience preferred

EDUCATION :

High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE :

1-2 years of medical office experience preferred
