Power and Transmission Analyst
G.A. Rogers, a professional and executive search firm, has an opportunity with a leading Independent Power Producer.
The role will be a mixture of analytical, programmatic support, project management support in regard to energy forecasting, transmission and interconnection matters, and optimization of proposed, pending, and / or operational facilities or usage rights which may be held, acquired, or contemplated for acquisition and usage for the benefit of projects and future power marketing and transmission optimization initiatives.
Responsibilities include :
Data Analysis & Modeling
- Modeling : Production output modeling of solar and wind projects, storage facilities, and other resources, and supporting analysis and summarization; build and / or maintain tools to query and analyze publicly available data related to interconnection, transmission, renewable technology, and project design
- Data : Develop appropriate database and analytical infrastructure to consider prior, current, and future projects performance, as well as pertinent market, weather, and other future and historical data sets.
Project Finance
Transactions & Finance : Support analysis for project transactions including assistance in generating financial models and / or proformas, offtake negotiations, and project financings.M&A : Support evaluation and execution of acquisition (or disposition) of development assets from time to time with a variety of counterparties.Interconnection and Transmission
Expertise : Develop and expand your understanding of and engagement on all existing assets, interconnection strategies, queue positions, and transmission positions, including associated studies and agreements for the Company's and other-parties' related queue positions.Strategy : Support interconnection studies, development, and implementation of interconnection strategies, including queue positions with BPA, PAC, Electric Coops, and others.Project Development
Energization : Support the successful energization and operation of operational solar assets, including interconnection facilities and related strategies across renewable technologies.moreRequirements :
