Job description

Austin Geriatric Specialists (AGS) is the leading provider of excellent and evidence based geriatric care in the Austin area.

AGS is seeking full-time Advanced Practice Nurse to patient calls and provide medical support. T his is a remote position with no in-person visits. You will answer clinical questions, triage medical issues, and give verbal orders.

Occasional participation in practice meetings during business hours (approximately 4-5 times a year).

Schedule :

  • Wednesday 5 pm - 11 pm
  • Thursday 5 pm - Friday 7 am
  • Friday 11 pm - Saturday 7 am
  • Saturday 11 pm - Sunday 7 am

Qualifications :

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and skilled nursing staff.
  • Experience in the clinical management of acute and chronically ill complex geriatric patients.
  • Positive and inquisitive attitude.
  • Reliable high speed internet access

    • License / Training : Texas advanced practice license with prescriptive authority. DEA not required.
