Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Missouri to provide virtual therapy services to a diverse patient population across the lifespan. This is a unique opportunity to join a startup practice from the ground up, with the flexibility of remote work, a gradual caseload build, and the chance to shape clinical workflows alongside our psychiatry team.
We are looking for a provider who is adaptable, patient-centered, and enthusiastic about delivering mental health care in a virtual setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is self-directed, tech-savvy, and well experienced with Missouri’s behavioral health landscape.
Note : This is a tele-health, fully remote position for preferred candidates who reside in Missouri with Missouri state licensure. Candidates who do not reside in Missouri will be offered a hybrid remote position.
Duties
- Deliver services in a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered manner
- Patient Population : Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatric
- Provide individual, family, and / or group therapy sessions through HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms
- Conduct initial intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress over time
- Address social determinants of health, and connect patients to local Missouri-based community resources
- Maintain compliance with Missouri-specific clinical documentation and reporting requirements
- Manage clinical risk via virtual platforms, including suicide risk assessments, crisis response, and safety planning
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients, including referrals to additional services as needed
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay up-to-date with Missouri’s Medicaid and behavioral health policy changes impacting telehealth practice
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in social work and mental health.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.Current Missouri state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Minimum 1 year post-licensure experience.Credentialed with Missouri Medicaid and / or commercial insurersExperience serving Missouri’s rural or underserved populationsKnowledge of Missouri-specific behavioral health services and referral networks (e.g., community mental health centers, social service agencies, CPS)Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.Comfort using telehealth platforms and working independentlyFamiliarity with electronic health records (EHR) system eclinicalworks(eCW) and HIPAA compliance in virtual careBilingual or multilingual providers encouraged to applyWe encourage qualified candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
