Overview
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon is located less than 15 miles south of Bakersfield, on Tejon Indian tribal land in Mettler, situated at the southernmost tip of California's Southern San Joaquin Valley and nestled near the base of the historic Grapevine mountain pass that connects Southern California to the Central Valley. This region is known for its productive agriculture and access to various parts of California. The project will be built in two phases : the first includes a 150,000 sq ft casino with slot machines, table games, and food venues, including Hard Rock Café. Phase II will feature a hotel and an event center with music memorabilia.
Role Summary
The Player Development Executive is responsible for implementing, developing, and coordinating programs to attract and host high-value players, ensuring guest satisfaction and repeat visits. The role involves building relationships with potential high-value guests both on and off property, interacting with VIP guests, and making decisions regarding complimentary services. The incumbent will guide Hosts and approve player requests.
Responsibilities
- Create an atmosphere that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock Casino for entertainment, building and maintaining guest relations.
- Develop new business relationships and assess their potential.
- Achieve sales targets and maintain relationships with VIP guests to increase business.
- Develop creative marketing strategies to expand customer base and execute special events.
- Ensure compliance with all laws and policies, acting with integrity.
- Anticipate and meet the needs of internal clients and support new ideas to improve business.
- Plan and organize events, and develop guest invitation lists.
- Convey program and qualification details to prospective guests.
- Assist in business development to increase visitation and represent the casino at events.
- Identify and foster relationships with new and loyal guests, focusing on high-value players.
- Track and report on player activity and preferences.
- Handle guest issues professionally and explain gaming and promotional programs.
- Maintain and update the players' database for targeted marketing.
- Adhere to all gaming regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, with 3 years of hosting experience or 4 years of marketing experience, or equivalent.Must obtain and maintain gaming licenses and certifications.Pass background checks and be at least 21 years old.Experience in the gaming industry and opening new properties is preferred.Knowledge and Skills
Understanding of regional gaming markets and marketing functions.Knowledge of casino operations, marketing, and legal regulations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends.Work Environment
