Materials Coordinator
Location : Butler, PA
Pay Rate : $26.00 - $30.00 / hr
4 month Contract to Direct Hire Opportunity
The Materials Coordinator for the Butler, PA facility plays a pivotal role in this fast-paced, small shop environment. This position requires a versatile individual who can handle multiple responsibilities including customer service, materials procurement and scheduling, as well as assisting with light inventory and packaging. The role demands a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, responsible for managing direct customer communication, order processing, and tracking.
Responsibilities
Answer and transfer phone calls, screening as necessary.
Understand clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
Respond to and resolve administrative and customer inquiries and questions.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
Ensure orders are entered into the ERP system and manage the scheduling and alignment of these orders.
Retrieve inventory as requested for floor production.
Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and budget tracking.
Prepare agendas and schedules for production.
Maintain and order office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
