Rev Up Your Career : Become a Diesel Instructor!

Are you a diesel expert who loves turning wrenches just as much as turning minds? Do you get a thrill from helping the next generation of diesel techs master the art of engines, torque, and turbochargers? If so, this might be the perfect gig for you!

We're looking for a Diesel Instructor who's ready to trade in their toolbox (okay, maybe not entirely) for a classroom and shop full of eager students. Under the guidance of the Dean of Academic Affairs , you'll have the chance to shape the future of diesel technology while keeping things hands-on, high-energy, and engaging!

Work Schedule :

Monday – Thursday (That's right, 3-day weekends!)

Two days : 9 AM – 5 PM

Two days : 9 AM – 10 PM

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Teaching & Training – Deliver top-notch lessons and real-world insights in a way that keeps students hooked.
  • Curriculum Rockstar – Use provided materials, tweak them when needed, and bring your A-game to class every day.
  • Hands-On Learning – Guide students through shop exercises, ensuring they master the tools of the trade (and don't lose any in the process!).
  • Keeping it Real – Teach not just the how, but the why of diesel mechanics, helping students build confidence in their skills.
  • Student Success – Track progress, give helpful feedback, and be the mentor students need to launch their careers.
  • Professional Development – Keep up with industry advancements and maintain your ASE certifications (or work towards them).

What We're Looking For :

  • A High School Diploma, Certificate, Associate's Degree, or higher.
  • At least 3 years of diesel industry experience – if you've lived under the hood, we want to hear from you!
  • Solid problem-solving and organizational skills (because engines and students both need structure).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you'll be inspiring the future of the industry!
  • Familiarity with diesel technology practices, vehicle maintenance, and industry tools .
  • ASE certifications (T4, T6, T8) preferred , but if you're willing to earn them, we'll support you.
  • Bonus points for knowing Canvas, Gmail, MS Word , and other instructor tools.
  • Why You'll Love It Here :

  • Share Your Passion – Teach what you love and make a real impact.
  • Competitive Pay & Benefits – Because your expertise is valuable!
  • Four-Day Work Week – Three-day weekends, every weekend.
  • State-of-the-Art Facilities – Teach in a well-equipped shop environment.
  • Be Part of Something Bigger – Help students build careers in an industry that powers the world.
  • If you're ready to trade in repair orders for lesson plans and want to be part of a dynamic, student-focused environment, we want to meet you!

Apply today and start fueling the future of diesel technology!
