Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Concord, North Carolina 28025

Healthcare Setting : Operating Room, Level 3 Trauma Center

Assignment Type : Travel Operating Room RN

Start Date : October 20, 2025

End Date : January 16, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00am – 7 : 00pm)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Weekend Rotation : Every 4th weekend (scheduled shift or call)

Call Requirement : Average 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule, 45-minute response time

Holiday Coverage : Work 75% of holidays during assignment

Free Parking & Scrubs Provided

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470-$1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

Active North Carolina RN license or compact state eligibility

BLS certification required

CNOR certification preferred

Proficiency in circulating for a wide range of surgical specialties : trauma, ortho trauma, total joints, spine, cardiac, vascular, GYN, GYN-oncology, robotics, general, HPB, bariatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, pain, plastics

Strong teamwork, flexibility, and self-motivation

First-time travel nurses not accepted

OR RN Responsibilities

Circulate and assist in complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols

Respond to call shifts and adapt to changing case needs, including nights and weekends

Participate in orientation and ongoing departmental education

Contribute to a positive, supportive operating room culture
