About the Role :

The Registered Nurse at Estate at Riverbend plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse patient population. This position focuses on providing direct patient care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized and effective treatment plans. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Additionally, the role involves educating patients and their families about health management and preventive care to promote long-term wellness. Ultimately, the Registered Nurse contributes to a supportive and healing environment by advocating for patient needs and maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
  • Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical nursing program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical nursing role involving direct patient care (substance use disorder experience preferred)

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Associate's Degree (ADN)
  • Experience working in mental health or substance use disorder environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
  • Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and health maintenance strategies.
  • Advocate for patient rights and needs within the healthcare team and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Document all nursing care activities accurately and maintain patient records in compliance with regulatory standard.
  • Skills :

    The required skills such as direct patient care, and medication administration are essential for daily clinical assessments and interventions, ensuring patient safety and effective treatment. Patient education and advocacy skills enable the nurse to communicate complex health information clearly and support patients in making informed decisions about their care. Preferred skills like familiarity with electronic health records and mental health / substance use disorder experience enhance the nurse's ability to provide advanced care and streamline documentation processes.
