Medical Director

Titan Placement Group invites you to explore an opportunity to lead within a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center in the historic waterfront city of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Salary and Benefits

Annual salary range : $152,000 $326,000
Sign-on bonus

No hospital rounding or on-call (light, rotating call only)
Flexible full-time schedule with only one late weekday

Responsibilities

Lead and provide medical oversight for primary care and specialized service lines

Deliver direct patient care including chronic disease management, preventive care, urgent visits, and follow-ups

Supervise and mentor clinicians, providing ongoing professional development

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and refine clinical protocols

Engage in quality improvement projects and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Support services addressing HIV / AIDS, Hepatitis, and Latent Tuberculosis

Promote a culture of collaboration and patient-centered care aligned with organizational values

Participate in provider recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Current, unrestricted medical license

Active DEA and Controlled Substance Registration

BLS / CPR certification

Experience with EPIC or other EMR systems

Prior leadership and mentoring experience preferred

Passion for serving diverse and underserved communities
