Role Description
The Clinical Supervisor oversees the daily clinical operations of youth residential services at Bar None, ensuring the provision of trauma-informed, whole-person care. The role commits to the adherence of clinical guidelines and protocols while striving for service excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Recruit, lead, manage / supervise, and develop clinical staff to achieve program objectives, professional goals, and excellent service delivery.
- Approve referrals for appropriate fit to program and collaborate with Program Director and other leadership staff for admissions.
- Provide clinical and programmatic oversight of clinical treatment services, implementing whole-person, trauma-informed, and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate on clinical program outcomes and quality assurance of clinical services in conjunction with the Program Director and other leadership staff to ensure the integrity and efficiency of treatment programming.
- Participate in YRS clinical leadership meetings for division collaboration, including offering knowledge, feedback and insight for best practice and strategic programmatic shifts as needed.
- Review, approve, and audit all clinical documentation to ensure requirements per policy and licensure are met.
- Ensure program participants’ case files are in accordance with all program, ethical, and licensing standards.
- Ensure program participant privacy is maintained by being knowledgeable and following HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
- Maintain a clinical case load when / as needed to meet the needs of the facility.
- Provide quality services in a work environment reflecting integrity, teamwork, and mutual respect through effective communication and healthy team dynamics.
- Oversee and manage clinical budget in collaboration with Program Director.
- Represent the agency in a professional manner at all times including strategic relationship building with external providers and other resource agencies.
- Collaborate and assist in facilitation of emergency placements and / or hospitalizations.
- Oversee clinical guidance and support to direct care staff.
- Participate in Mental Health Professional phone support rotation per the needs of the program / facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be a fully licensed Mental Health Professional for clinical practice in the state of Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT)1 year experience providing leadership and / or supervision preferredExperience working with adolescents, preferredRequired Skills
