About The Position

Job Title : Cardiovascular Lab Tech

Profession : Clinical - Allied

Specialty : Invasive

Duration : 26 weeks

Shift : 0700 - 1730

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum of 1 year; Preferred 3 years

License : Required

Certifications : RCIS or RCES, BLS, ACLS, PALS (specific location only)

Must-Have : Associates Degree in Invasive Cardiovascular, Cardiopulmonary Technologist, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic, or Surgical Technology; or four years of equivalent experience.

Description :

Floating between departments and / or local locations within 20 miles is required.

Responsibilities include adult cardiac catheterization, cardiac devices, electrophysiology, and / or structural heart procedures.

Ensure that complete and accurate documentation is maintained.

Ensure accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case loads.

Respond to and provide emergent care.

Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.

Ensure maintenance of equipment and cleanliness of the lab.

Assure preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance with local and federal regulations.

Must be a team player and flexible, accustomed to a fast-paced environment.

Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
