About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : RN

Specialty : Med Surg

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour night shift

Hours per Shift : 72 hours per two weeks

Experience : 3 years of Med-Surg background required

License : Active state RN license required

Certifications : HeartSaver AED Certification, BLS Certification (must be AHA)

Must-Have :

• 3 years of Med-Surg experience
• Critical thinking skills
• Experience with EPIC charting

Description :

Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing.

Follows departmental and facility policies and procedures, as well as standards of nursing practice.

Utilizes equipment such as Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations.

Completes medication testing once on-site, to be finished within the first two weeks.

Follows scheduling details including every other weekend and being on call as needed.

Maintains compliance with contract requirements and department procedures.
